Five Tips to build confidence
Everyone knows the benefits of good self-confidence. You feel better, look better, and perform better. Unfortunately, many people lack this trait for no apparent reason and have no idea how to build up their confidence. Thankfully, there are many simple ways to do this.

Nobody is perfect:
Even the most successful people make mistakes and have flaws. Self-assured people do not dwell on their mistakes but rather learn from them. They understand that an error does make them incompetent. Follow their lead and remember that just because you are not impeccable does not mean you cannot do things.

Feeling more confident:
An easy first step to building confidence is feeling more confident. Wear clothes that make you feel good about yourself. In the privacy of your house, practice an authoritative walk and a winning smile. Exercise boosts endorphin's  which increase your happiness. Feeling better about yourself will make you more confident, and the compliments you receive from others will certainly help!

Make a list:
Make a list of the things you are good at and the things you like about yourself. Write them on sticky notes and put them around the house so that you are reminded of your positive traits on a regular basis. Ask your friends and family for suggestions if you are having a hard time or want outside input.

Take risks:
This may seem counter-intuitive  but facing fears is an excellent way on how to build confidence. If you succeed, you did something you didn't think you could, which should boost your self-esteem and let you know that you are more capable than you thought. Even if your plan doesn't work the way you expected it to, you at least put yourself out there and learned some lessons along the way. You probably realized that failure isn't nearly as bad as you thought, and you won’t be so afraid to try again.

Learn from your successes and failures:
When you find something that works, you’ll have a proven method. Being able to trust the things you do and your own judgment means you can have more faith in yourself. Conversely, when you don’t accomplish your goals, don’t write it off as a complete failure. Find out why things did not go as expected and apply that knowledge to future endeavors. This increases your chances to succeed. When you think of every enterprise as a learning opportunity, you reduce pressure on yourself and set yourself up for accomplishments.

Recognize that not everything that everyone says is true and that not everything that goes wrong is your fault. People will badmouth you because they don’t like you, are jealous, or are misinformed. Ignore the false statements and don’t let them be blows to your ego. Likewise, bad things happen that are acts of god, other people’s mistakes, or simply bad luck. None of those are reflections on you and should not be taken to heart.

Follow these tips on how to build confidence and you will be self-assured. There is no overnight solution, but these lifestyle changes will help you be confident and successful.

4 tips on how to be optimistic
If you got here then chances are that you are not an optimistic person but you want to become one. Being an optimist has a lot of great benefits on your life and it can make it easier for you to achieve success. The reason is because an optimist always looks on the bright side and this allows him to propel in that direction. Being a pessimist, on the other hand, is the opposite of an optimist and it’s often associated with people who are depressed and who don’t value their life as much as they should. Being optimistic doesn't mean that you don’t acknowledge that bad things ever happen in life. It means that no matter what happens you will always try to make the right choice in order to produce the best possible outcome.

5 Tips to develop basic leadership skills
Many people believe that being a leader is something that you are born with. This is not true. I believe that being a leader is something that takes years of practice to develop. The environment that you were raised in and the principles that you were taught as a kid play a major role in determining whether you are fit for a leader or not. For example someone that never got the chance to have some kind of responsibility might not know what it is like to come up with the right plan to achieve the goal. If you feel that you’re not much of a leader there is still time to develop leadership skills. Remember that it’s never too late to learn anything.
